Improve Your Image (a photography workshop)
Tuesday, February 5th 6:30pm

Since Kodak introduced the first pocket camera in 1895, photography enthusiasts have been trying to improve their photos. Whether you are photographing a family reunion, your children at play or capturing a scene in nature, we will explore ways to enhance those special images and help you get the best shot. Tales to Tails

Come to the Parkland Library and read to Leyna or Daisy, therapy dogs from Progressive Paws. This program is developed to encourage independent reading and increase reading fluency. Meditation Yoga

Come to the Parkland Library for a basic introduction to the concepts and methods of meditation. Raja Yoga is essentially the path built on personal meditative practices. The Session will be presented by local Parkland resident, Bob Porterfield. Healthy Lifestyle Class: “Farmers Markets- The Healthy Choice”

The City of Parkland is proud to announce a special Valentine’s Event for your dog on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 9:00am – 11:00am at Barkland Dog Park. Smooch Your Pooch will feature local dog friendly companies, raffles, pet adoptions, doggie Valentine’s cards and much more! Donate canned pet food or cat litter to receive a free giveaway. All donations will go to the Florida Humane Society, a local no kill animal shelter. Garden Contest
